Clayton State University course in Logistics & Supply Chain Management

One of our local colleges - Clayton State University - offers a course in Logistics & Supply Chain Management.

The Atlanta Air Cargo Association (AACA) makes a contribution to CSU annually to help fund courses such as this.

The course covers Introduction to Transportation and Logistics - basic modes of transportation, economic fundamentals of supply chain effectiveness; Principles of Supply Chain Management - provides analytical techniques for inventory management, communications, warehousing and distribution; Global Distribution and Air Operations - students learn import/export basics and spend time in a work environment with a company involved in international trade and/or logistics.

This years course has 28 students and there are 6 that need placement within an organization to complete the course. The internship will be for 10 weeks and students usually report twice a week. The students work with you (for free) to learn, assist and prepare for their future careers.
