Local Customs Broker has opening for the follow positions:

Entry writer: for our CHB department. We need a strong team player that has 1-3 years of experience with the ability to handle high volume entries. Must know shipping terms, fundamentals of CHB operations. Looking for an individual who is organized, has good communication skills. The qualify candidate must have good verbal & written co Duties: Prepare import documents, coordinate shipment delivery, customer service, information gathering/problem solving, data entry, interface with U.S. Customs inspectors, oral & written communications, filing/copying/faxing. Skills: Typing/keyboarding (min 25 wpm), data entry, forms preparation, problem solving, good verbal communication, knowledge of geography. Knowledge of word processing and/or spreadsheets. Team player, ability to multi task, excellent benefit with friendly environment.  Multi lingual a plus.

IMPORT SPECIALIST: Full time entry level transportation, ocean /Air  import and export, position responsibilities includes the preparation of import and customs documents, coordinate with shipping line,  shipment delivery, container dispatching, customer care, research, data entry, interfacing with government agencies, written and verbal communication proficiency , ability to multi task, and perform routine office functions filing/copying/ faxing .  We’re looking for motivated individuals, with people skills , flexible, team players that are interested in joining a growing logistic company.   2-year degree with strong computer, people, written  and verbal communication skills is a plus, minimum age is 21,     Hours: M-F/8:00-5:00, occasional weekend. Salary: $24–30K.  Excellent benefit with friendly environment, will give strong consideration, however not a requirement for someone with Chinese or Spanish language skills. 

SALES EXECUTIVE: We are seeking a Sales Executive to generate new business for our growing international traffic, strong emphasis on imports and exports from Asia and Latin America , our logistic services include air freight, ocean transportation,  import inbound,  export outbound, customs brokerage, documentation, warehousing and distribution . Position responsibilities include: Market planning, issuing quotes, preparing bids, monitoring accounts with tracking software, developing relationships with key customers, follow up on leads, servicing and customer retention, preparing reports, handling daily correspondence, customer service, telemarketing, call calling, ability to speak and present to audiences.  We will give strong consideration to the following to a candidate with the following qualifications: Be a self-started, motivated, a minimum 1-2 years of sales experience a plus.  At least 1-2 years of freight forwarding operations experience.  Excellent communication skills (verbal &written). BOOK KEEPING/OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR: We also have immediately opening for a part time accounting clerk /office administrator, the idea candidate must have knowledge of how to use Quick Book. Responsibilities include: date entry/record keeping, tracking receivable, payable, generate invoices, collectable. The candidate also highly organized & detail oriented. This is part time job, salary based on hourly rate.
