The AACA joins forces to support PEI's efforts with Hurricane Katrina Relief

The AACA is joining forces to support PEI's efforts in this project. Please read PEI's message below.

In coalition with FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) and the American Red Cross, PEI, Inc. has volunteered staff and equipment to assist the victims of hurricane Katrina.

PEI, Inc. has volunteered to be a collections site for emergency relief supplies and will be providing the equipment and staff necessary to transport these supplies to effected areas where supplies are needed.

PEI, Inc. seeks the support of all employees, customers, agencies and vendors in supplying emergency relief items that are needed for daily survival by those victims that were hit the hardest. A few of these items are:

Bottled Water
Batteries
Diapers
Clothing
Baby Formula (liquid only please - much of the effected area does not have clean drinking water)
Baby Food
Generators
Flashlights
Canned Food
First Aid Items
Anything and everything needed for daily survival

Delivery details and deadline to begin transporting items to effected areas remain to be worked out with FEMA and the Red Cross. Meanwhile we can begin collecting items. If you would like to make a donation of items please send or deliver your items to:
